MUTUAL AID
Mutual aid is rooted in the idea that we all have something to give, and we all may need support at different times. We believe a strong school community takes care of one another. Our Mutual Aid Committee (M.A.C) aims to share information and resources, build connections, and provide financial and practical support when members of our community need a helping hand. It’s about solidarity, not charity—and recognizing that the strength of our community comes from caring for and supporting one another.
You can donate to the Mutual Aid Fund at any time through our general donations page, just make a note that your donation is directed to the M.A.C.
PARK(ing) Day Philadelphia is an annual celebration that transforms ordinary parking spaces into vibrant, temporary public parks! On the third Friday of September, Philadelphians come together to reimagine how our streets and public spaces can be used for people—not just cars. The HSA's M.A.C. invites you to join us in our park this Park(ing) Day to sit, talk with your neighbors, and imagine what resilient community looks like - we'll be located in front of High Point Cafe (7210 Cresheim Road, Philadelphia PA 19119).
